Our latest Behind The Lens interview features UK fashion photographer Alex Finch on the streets during Seoul Fashion Week. The seasoned street style photographer has been documenting Seoul Fashion Week for the past five years and is a contributor to Vogue.
Rather than using her artistic voice for personal gain or "fame," the Oakland-bred documentarian known as Brittsense casts her lens on the light most of the country and the world in its entirety, has tried to dim.
"My grandmother was a boxing photographer and I asked her right before I came to the U.S., 'Hey do you still have a camera?' and she gave me her camera and lenses. I just started taking photos randomly and now I love it."
"I've been a fan of Levi Walton's work for quite some time now. It resonated with me coming across an artist who has the same cultural roots as myself, successfully using parts of our heritage and implementing it as a component in their conceptual work. However that is only a fraction of the reason as to why Walton's work is so enlivening."
